Health Guarantee

What we promise, and what we do not

A guarantee is only worth the part you can read. This page is the full policy. You will also receive it in writing before you are asked to pay, so you can take it to your own vet or solicitor first.

Before publishing: every bracketed value below is a binding commercial commitment. Set each one to terms the business can actually honour, and have the final wording reviewed against consumer law in every state you sell into. Do not copy a competitor’s guarantee term.

Initial health period

Your puppy is examined by a licensed veterinarian before travel. We ask that you arrange your own veterinary examination within [[X]] days of arrival. If that examination finds a pre-existing condition that makes the puppy unfit, contact us immediately and we will [[REMEDY: refund, replacement, or contribution to treatment]].

Hereditary and congenital conditions

We cover diagnosed hereditary and congenital conditions for [[X YEARS]] from the date your puppy comes home. Cover is limited to [[AMOUNT OR FORMULA]].

What is not covered

Being clear about exclusions is what makes the rest credible. This guarantee does not cover:

  • Conditions arising from injury, neglect, poor nutrition or missed vaccinations
  • Parasites, minor infections and other common conditions that respond to routine treatment
  • Conditions where recommended preventative care was not followed
  • [[ADD any further exclusions, stated plainly]]

How to make a claim

  1. Contact us as soon as your vet raises a concern
  2. Send the diagnosis and supporting records from the treating vet
  3. We respond within [[X]] business days
  4. If the claim is accepted we [[REMEDY]]

Your rights either way

This guarantee sits on top of your statutory consumer rights. It does not replace or reduce them.
