Who we will and will not list
The difference between a good marketplace and a bad one is not the website. It is which breeders get to use it.
What we require
- Current licensing and registration for the jurisdiction the breeder operates in
- Health testing appropriate to the breed, with documentation we can see
- Puppies raised in the home or in housing we have inspected, not in isolation
- Willingness to appear on a video call with the buyer
- Accurate listings: real photographs of the actual puppy, taken recently
What disqualifies a breeder
- Refusing to show where the puppies are raised
- Stock photographs, or images reused across multiple listings
- Breeding females beyond the frequency their vet considers appropriate
- Missing or inconsistent veterinary records
- Pressuring buyers, or asking to move a sale off-platform
How we check
We review documentation before a breeder is listed, and we re-check periodically. [[CONFIRM: how often you re-inspect, and whether visits are in person or by video]]
If something is wrong
If you believe a breeder listed here is not meeting these standards, tell us. We would rather lose a listing than keep one we cannot defend.
